Comune di Milano invites young groups aged 15-35 to participate to the first call for street actions of the Food Wave project! The call will award and fund selected project to realise collective and communicative actions, performative events and participatory initiatives to be carried out in public places in the city of Milan, from May to October, with the aim of engaging citizens and neighborhoods, raising awareness about climate change mitigation and sustainability.

Food Wave announces the call for application for the 2nd Eating City Workshop, the two-days online event for young food professional and activists to discuss about the impact of “out-of-home food consumption” sector in the fight against climate change.

Food Wave is partner of the #Act4SDGs Global Call for Ideas in the framework of Milano Digital Week 2021. #Act4SDGs Global Call is an international call to take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts globally and collectively.

The call for proposals is aimed at financing 21 projects addressing the nexus between food and climate change developed by small youth-led CSOs with a contribution up to 3000 euros.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is selecting the three delegates who will represent Italy at Youth 20 (Y20), a G20 engagement group whose summit will be held in Milan at the end of July.
