With the initiative organised by partner ReLondon, a group of young creatives were ‘challenged’ to develop content for a pan-European digital campaign on food waste. The digital agency Brand Ethos, co-partner of the event, created initial stimulus material and messaging and then presented these at a Hackathon for a group of design students, who then worked on developing these ideas further to create final outputs. Brand Ethos, along with ReLondon, selected three final ideas to pursue and build into a wider campaign. The visuals have focused on the value and life of different foods, as well as the potential monetary savings if food is not wasted. Here are the three award-winning projects.
