The City Food Maker: a new skill for transitioning to sustainable food systems

While isolated initiatives on food have proved that change is possible, building a common voice at the local level is essential for a real change of paradigm. This is the role of the “city food maker”, an emerging skill profile that is key to foster systemic change, supporting local policy makers. In the context of Food Wave, this event aims at raising awareness among youth about the complexity of food systems, the related impact on climate change and about the necessity of engaging all stakeholders to bring forward long-lasting change. This workshop has been registered as a EU Green Week partner event.
