Street action

The event will take place in one of the central squares of Brasov, in the proximity of 2 main streets. The target group is formed by young people between 15-35, but, given the fact that there will be many young families, the event will have some activities dedicated also for toddlers and children.

Main activities:

• Food Wave ambassadors and volunteers informing pedestrians about the event and inviting them to participate in the activities;
• ambiental music;
• asphalt art for kids;
• collaborative painting on canvas, both for children and young adults;
• billboard put on a cargo bike for a participative brainstorming about food and climate change – solution co-creation;
• an unconventional parklet, built on a trail (the romanian legislation does’t allow to change the destination of the parking lots, so we’ve decided to build the parklet on a registered trail and after the event can be “parked” on any parking space) – this will be the first parklet in Brașov;
• an anamorphic art installation on pavement, related to the topic of the project (given the fact that the event will take place on the historical central, it is not allow to paint directly on the pavement, so the art work will be printed on a special material and after the event will be moved in a commercial center for more visibility) – this will also be the first anamorphic paint in Brașov;
• a tasting atelier with local products; –
• pop up museum with work of arts gathered from local artists; –
• Contest on the spot – winners will reveive ambassadors’ promotional kit;
• “Expired” – norvegian documentary public screening.
