At the first session of the program at Cegléd, the project partner Felelős Gasztrohős Alapítvány/Heroes of Responsible Dining Foundation introduces the topic of sustainable dining to the students of Cegléd Polytechnic. The event starts with an interactive presentation on how our eating habits affects our environment. After the presentation local businesspersons and activists talk about their connection to environmentally friendly dining on the stage and in small groups.
At the second event of the program at Érd, the project partner Felelős Gasztrohős Alapítvány deepens the students’ knowledge on food waste and coordinate a session of joint design of awareness raising tools. Small student groups – with the help of local stakeholders – develop their own communication tool (a poster, videos, graphics, sticker,…) that targets their fellow students. The groups are encouraged to realize their ideas after the event, since the best tools will win.
