Organized by the Lisbon DLBC Network, with the support of the “Food Wave – Empowering Urban Young for Climate Action” project, the “Seeds in the Neighborhood” contest aims to mobilize citizens to raise awareness of sustainable food systems and urban food policies. Proposals may include activities, workshops, events, and campaigns, among others, which count on the active participation of young people, aged between 15 and 35, in the conception, organization, and/or implementation of the proposal.
The themes may include sustainable diets, supporting alternative local food systems, and fighting waste. Proposals can be submitted by local organizations and/or informal groups based in Lisbon, or by individuals, as long as they are within the age group of 15-35 years. Three prizes of €1500 will be awarded. Proposals must be submitted using the form available by May 17, 2022.
